I am outfitting my new 426 DS and want to add a grill. Tryed the magma last week on a 466 out of the Keys and found it adequate - but lacking. I have seen the Parker advertised. Is it any better? Anyone have one? If so how did you mount it with the lack of rail space on the Hunter. Did you attach it behind the seats or any other thoughs. Thanks in advance. Ed

I was in the keys last week

and my 12 year old Force 10 works when I plug all the openings. I would be most interested in comments about BBQ's as I was going to replace mine with a Magma.

grill suggestion

Following is a paste from a response i sent some time ago check it out Tony Response to Gas Grill Ideas...: Gas grille suggestion Submitted by Tony on 03/04 at 06:54AM regarding General_interest Depending on your budget you owe it to yourself to look at Dickinson (www.dickinsonmarine.com) and their line of Sea-B_cue products. The unit is rail mounted, rectangular with a hinged top. Clips onto a rail mounted platform and can be unclipped and used on shore (it has legs) Works in a strong breeze and has a unique grill which is solid and z shaped in cross section nothing can fall thru and when dirty, reverse it and bottom cleans while top cooks! all stainless in construction.. can use small fuel bottles but they sell a connection hose. in many hunters there is a propane storage area which can house two bottles. i keep two and can easily connect hose to one when i want to use grill also can carry the extra tank onto beach etc with unit and do shore cooking. when not in use unit removes in a sec. and can be stored in convenient place or just leave installed and cover with cover they also sell. this is an extremely well built and well engineered product and worth every penny. bon appetit tony

Had a Force 10 and now a Magma....

The Magma is far a away a better grill than the Force 10. I was always very DISSATISFIED with the Force 10. The Magma is much hotter, cooks faster, and doesn't leak grease all over my boat while cooking. Sorry, don't have any experience with Parker.
