There's a special offer in France to use and try during one month the Parasailor. They even give a training course on the boat free of charge during the French Boat exhibition in PARIS.

I have never seen this kind of spinnaker on a Hunter 36.
Anyone out there actually used / owned one of these ?
Does your friends used it ?
This seems so easy to use that I'm a little bit nervous about buying something not tested on a Hunter 36.

Seems, theoretically, it should work on any boat. Looks pricey, have you gotten a quote?

All it does is provide vertical lift at the expense of driving force. Seems some of the newer boats are a little thin in the bow displacement wise and all that sail forces the bow down into the water (about 3-4 inches). the vertical lift compinsates for the bow down torque when going down wind.
I don't know about your boat but I'm not going to worry about 3-4 inches of waterline at the bow.

Hi.
I bought a conventional spinnaker. Very satisfied. I use it with a spinn sock. Best sail down wind for me. I dont know aboat the parasailor, but it seems as a good idea. I have seen that they often fly them without using other sails.

Please report if you try it.

Regards
Andreas
