I’m having trouble figuring out how this parallel charge circuit works. When the breaker is engaged my generator seems to be charging the start battery and shows 2 amps at the Mastervolt control panel and the readings on my battery banks are the same. When the breaker is tripped, the power goes up to 4 amps and the reading on both banks are different. There is a red light illuminated either way. Should this breaker be tripped or set for normal usage?
