Chuck Thank you for your answer but I am still unsure. I understand Paragon made several different Gear Assemblies. I am beginning to understand that Paragon G300 is actually two seperate enclosed units that we all refer to as one. 1. The Gear Case assembly that may take ATF 2. The Reduction Gear assmbly that may take 40 Wt Oil. Am I correct?
This is connected to a Perkins 4 Cyl Diesel (4-108) I have done all the normal researching that I can possible do on-line and still have not found a definative answer.
As a last resort you might try calling Mack Boring in Union. They were distributors for both Perkins and Pargon. There might still be en old timer there who would remember.
BS2, we have a different unit than yours so I would suggest you contact Bob or Brian Smith at American Diesel for some definitive answers or Mack Boring as SamLust suggested. We have found American the most knowledgeable in older units. Chuck
Thanks to all who answered. Previous phone calls to places you mentioned proved fruitless. That was reason that I joined this site. I figured some one may have had same model unit. This bye no means states I don't appreciate all your answers. Thanks again.
