My wife used the head one time. I tried to use it now it won't dry bowl or wet bowl. It won't do anything. I found a lot of water in the bowl after the hurricane had agitated the boat for a couple of days and had to sponge out. If I loosen the screws below the pump, water leaks from the seal. Is there an intake seacock to close before replacing seals or valves.

Yes there's a seacock.

Yup. You've got a seacock nearby on the head intake that needs to be closed before you start disassembling. As far as the pump. I bet you've still got the old c-clip type fastener that holds the plunger on the piston rod. They fail regularly and when they fail the handle is very easy to move up & down but nothing happens. PAR has a retrofit available that uses a nut instead of a c-clip. Get this & your head will be happy for a lot longer. It's an easy & inexpensive fix.
