Painting the swing keel

I am looking at placing new bottom paint on my Hunter 22 and have two questions. First, how can I paint up inside the swing keel without removing it and second, does anybody have any ideas on how to pull my boat off its trailer to just enough to drop the keel down? Is there a contraption I can build to hold the boat up (without having to buy boat stands)while I have the stern of the boat off the end of the trailer or am I stuck bringing the boat to a yard to have lifted? SWING KEEL REMOVAL

GOOD LUCK. IF IT'S ANY HELP, I PULLED MINE OF MY 212. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LIFTING YOUR BOAT UP, UNLESS YOU FIND A WAY TO ENSURE IT IS STABLE. I MOVED THE SUPPORT BOARD FROM THE TRAILER. I DUG A VERY BIG HOLE, MOVED BOAT OVER HOLE, ECT. OF COURSE, MY BOARD REALLY NEEDED REPAIRS TOO. IF YOU JUST NEED PAINT, UNLESS YOU HAVE BARNICLES AND REALLY BAD DRAG TYPE STUFF UNDER THERE, I RECOMMEND PUTTING IT OFF UNTIL NEXT YEAR.
