Hi guys, I have recently purchased a catalina 18 capri and have a question about top side painting. Has anyone tried the roll and tip method of painting on their boat? What kind of paint is it best for this use? I have seen comparison charts between top lac and brightside and it looks like bright side is better all around for uv and general wear and tear. It is the cheaper of the two paints, and I do not see what the advantage of top lac is according to the charts. I have also seen where some advise using a foam roller and tipping with a foam brush, others say to tip with a expensive hair brush. If you have done this type of painting on your boat it would be nice to see a picture of the results posted. Thanks, Bill
