I am about to pull my C-22 out of the water after 2 years in Lake Norman. I am planning on painting the bottom after Christmas and wonder what is the best way to get the boat off the trailer in my driveway to do the work. also I will be replacing the keel winch and inspecting the swing keel pivot. Any one have any good and safe sugestions for the do it your selfer. thanks Art

I used two 55 gal drums under the transom placed 14" or so apart, on these I placed a 2x8 with a boogie board on it (all I had) for a cushion. Under the front I used a 4x6x14 this will let you remove the trailer concrete blocks were used under it. Once off I replaced the 14' 4x6 with one 8' long so I could walk around it easier. Mine was off all summer (hit by lightning) To see how to remove the boat check out the website enclosed. Also if you belong to a fleet you might want to see if you can get several to go in on the cost of the materials. I paid 10 bucks a piece for the drums.

Additional ideas. to PPYC

Nice graphics P.P.Y.C.! Placed mine in the yard, didn't tie up my driveway. In the yard, I used anchor rode to stake the boat all four corners, like a tent using 2 by 2s and a sledge. Dug a hole in the yard for additional clearance to do the keel.

The graphics on the site that Ken mentions are actually drawn by Skip Meisch, Catalina 22 sailor extrodinaire.
