I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
I have some areas inside of my Hunter 22 that have mildew stains on them. I am going to paint these areas to cover over these stains. Has anyone had any experience doing this? Does anyone know of a good paint for this? Also, I am going to paint the inside of some of the storage lockers (same problem). Thanks for any information.

Clean First

As a suggestion, why don't you try to clean up your mildew stains first. Make up a mixture of bleach and water, using rubber gloves and a rag and wipe out all of your mildew area. Interlux makes a good interior fiberglass paint that can be used. But, I would clean it first.

mildew

I had a mildew issue on our 89 23 , the mildew was on the bulkhead facing the v berth, turned out the anchor locker drain was leaking a small amount and standing water was causing the milew , so you really need to first find out why you have mildew , fix that problem and then decide what to do with the area , but generally it has been my experience that I dont get mildew unless something is wet that should not be damp, once that was fixed we used cetol on the bulkhead, good luck Mike Bacome

I have already cleaned

I have already cleaned the areas and I have been unable to remove the stains. There is not any new mildew areas so I know that I have fixed the problem. Anyone have any suggestions for a good paint that would cover with one coat?
