I know some people on here will suggest some expensive marine paint, but 3 years ago I went with Rustoleum Pro oil base and have not regretted it. Durable, easy to clean and puts up with our high humidity here in Oklahoma. I used it on the advise of some old salty that used it years ago and still holding up. Easy to find at your home box stores and affordable. For that matter my friend, I added some paint hardener to it from tractor supply and painted the bottom of it! I beach it often, leave it in the water 3 days at a time and load and unload it on the trailer maybe 20 times a season ( no saltwater of course). I think I have a bout 3 nickel size spots to touch up and that's it. So you might consider it for the cabin!

If you use an oil base paint like the Rustoleum, make sure you've got good ventilation. Set up a fan blowing fresh air in. The fumes can build up quickly and can be dangerous.
I painted the topsides and deck of my Columbia last year with Rustoleum Topside, it went on and has held up well. Got it at Menards for $11.50 a quart. Can't see any real difference between it and Brightside at three times the price.
I did the interior with latex paint several years ago and it too has worked very well. Did the ugly fake wood bulkheads in off white to match the fiberglass and refinished the teak trim bright. Used two coats of Glidden Gripper primer and two coats premium exterior semi gloss latex. Looks great. Latex won't flow out as smooth as oil can, it will leave a textured finish. I was careful with the roller to leave that texture even throughout each panel and it came out looking like it was supposed to be that way, about the same as the original laminate texture. If you want a smooth shiny finish, you'll need to use oil based and the Rustoleum should work great for that.

Rustoleum Topside is actually a decent choice. If you want totally bombproof coverage, use Interlux Bilgekote.

Big fan of Rustoleum Topside also. I sprayed the hull of my Force 5 with it an has held up great. I plan on using it on my bootstripe on my H30.

Before you paint the interior, how bad is it? You'd be surprised at how effective cleaning the original gelcoat with acetone can be (removes deep stains). With some minor gelcoat repairs included you can do it for less than $100. Remember, the interior gelcoat has some texture to it so sanding it all will be time consuming.

We found that getting masks with an activated charcoal filter is well worth while, it will save you the awful headache that comes with sniffing paint fumes, which seems to happen no matter how well ventilated. Also as noted above, the hazard is on a par with filling the boat with propane.
