Any of the LPU's
Any of the LPU paints will be the longest lasting, toughest wearing and offer the best adhesion. Unless you want to be sanding and painting the hull every couple of years don't use a single part paint. The most user friendly two part paint is Interlux Perfection. While it is a two part paint it is not considered an LPU or Linear Polyurethane and does not offer the durability of an LPU.. LPU's are NOT however DIY friendly paints as some contain Isocyanate's (basically in the family of cyanide) and are very hazardous to your health and require sealed breathing systems for application. Some examples of LPU's are Sterling, AlexSeal, AwlGrip, Awlcraft 2000, & Imron...Sterling, AlexSeal, AwlGrip are all polyester LPU's and are not products you can "buff out" once cured. If you scratch them and try to buff you will essentially ruin the coating. Imron and Awlcraft 2000 are Acrylic LPU's and can be buffed out so if you scratch an acrylic LPU it's not the end of the world..painting a car or boat is 90% prep work and 10% painting. If you mess up the first 90% the last 10% was for not....
