I have cleaned my heat exchanger and now need to paint it. I'm having trouble finding what paint to use. It's copper and what kind of paint do you use on copper?

Not sure you should paint it. It supposed to transfer heat from one fluid to another (including air) with a high degree of efficiency. Paint can interfer with that. Besides, if paint flakes off it might clog something else.

I assume that you are talking about only painting the outside of your heat exchanger. If this is correct, Check out duplicolor's line of High Temperature Paints. Mostly used for automotive brake calipers, etc. Mask off all input/exit ports, spray paint the unit and you are done. I've used this high-temp spray paint on my exhaust elbow/riser with great results. Duplicolor also sells an adhesion promoter. #CP199.
