Does anyone have any experience with painting the ceiling in the cabin (both the "plastic"
area and the glass-fibre area)? Type of paint, priming etc. Thanks!

Olav,
I painted the rough grey fibreglass areas an off-white colour. The
underside of the main cabin top is very smooth white fibreglass and
mine did not need attention. I scrubbed the area to be painted with a
T.S.P. solution and an abrasive Scotch Brite pad.

Painting the lighter colour brightened up both cabins a lot. I used a
house paint that covers extremely well and has a mold and mildew
inhibitor in it to discourage mildew growth.

I used this paint on my other boat last year and it is proving to be
very tough.
Here's the URL for the paint:

and a picture of the painted interior:

Hope this helps.

I see we both have the same stove. What did you use for a fuel tank and
pressure pump? I have not installedmine yet.

My stove and tank were in the boat when I bought it. The tank is a
blue two US gallon cylinder with a pressure gauge and a valve on top.
I use a small bike pump to bring it up to pressure and it runs for
hours, and hours .... on one charge.

I couln't find much on Force Ten's web site, but West Marine has them
listed at
