Ben, I am in the early spring cleaning or is it the winter soak of the winches and I was thinking. I would like to paint the winches that have the dark grey outer body and the round plastic parts on the top under the self tailer. Are you or any of our readers aware of a good paint that will spruce these things up ?? There seems to be some pretty good special plastic paint in the hardware stores that might work or possible the refrigerator enamel that seems to be fairly strong. Just a thought. RD Been soaking the winches in diesel fuel and it seems to do a good job - so far.
