For some odd reason, the previous owner of my boat painted the teak cabin steps with a thick coat of antifouling paint. I want to remove the paint and restore the teak finish. Ideally I'd like to use a heat gun and a scraper to remove the paint, but having never done that before I'm wondering if using a heat gun on antifouling paint might be dangerous. Does anyone know?
