Can anyone recommend a good paint to paint the floor with? I pulled up the carpet that was in the boat to find wood floors (not good enough to stain and seal). Half wood and half glass. What would be a good paint to use that will last? Thank you. Dan Blake Rum Runner E30 1969 Richmond, CA

Floor paint

Hey There I have kept my floor painted and would suggest using any good high gloss oil paint. I don't think it matters much what kind you use because you'll have to do it every year to keep it looking good. If you want to spend good money try one of Sherman Williams industrial enamels. I have heard that some people sand it like a topside but I like it smooth underfoot. Good luck, Paul

Two Part Epoxy Paint

I'd use two part epoxy paint. I like Interlux Perfection. Measure divide it up into small batches because you have to throw out what you don't use. Roll it with a thin nap roller and brea up any bubble with a foam brush. This is how I paint hulls and I've had good success paiting wood and other things with it. It is a hard paint and lasts forever.
