This weekend while sailing in variable winds my spinnaker pole flew up and broke off the pad eye. Hunter said they didn't offer a spinnaker package. I am still waiting to hear back from US Spars. Has anyone replaced this on a 33.5(1992) or other model? It is rivited in which shouldn't be too much trouble. I would love to find the same type as the other side but don't know where to start looking.

Is there a track?

A lot of Hunters of this generation have a track formed into the mast. You can put a car with the loop on that. If you do this you have to add a couple of turning blocks and cam cleats above and below. But the result is a fully adjustable car. I'd say the load gets distributed better if you do this, so having it ripped out is less likely. Mark

No Track

No track, the pad eyes are located on both sides of the mast. I would like to get the same pad eye, as it probably matches the pole best. Working on getting the pole make/model and try and see if I can get the right pad eye from them.
