does anyone know the size of the prop shaft FOR A 29.5 1994 HUNTER. need to install a new packing gland.

Bob, If you go to the Home page of the HOW under the catagory "The Boats", the spec for your boat shows the shaft as 1"x 47". It's really good to know the information is here at your finger tips. Of course, there is no substitute for measuring it though! Good Luck, Mike D

Try a driplees one..

..I did on my 29.5 and am happy ever since ..(4 years..) The shaft size mentioned on HOW was correct on my boat.

Bob: My 29.5 is also a '94 and the diameter of the shaft is indeed 1 inch. I couldn't agree more about the dripless though (PSS); great invention = absolutely drip free! Try www.pyiinc.com Cheers; Bob Gillan
