i have a 27 ft hunter w 1 inch shaft what size packing do i use ty

It all depends on what type of packing gland you have. It may not be the OEM gland. In any event, you would be best advised to measure the space between the inside of the compression nut and the shaft, which is relatively easy to do. If in doubt, check MaineSail's postings/archives for the correct procedure. You don't want to install the wrong size packing material....
