Hello all:
Just an update as we get closer to the Port Browning rendezvous...A
gentleman by the name of Peter Bell, (he lives on Vancouver Island) has been
placing rendezvous notices on every Vega he can find. We may have more
than??? I spoke to the marina staff on Saturday and asked for 2 more spots
on the dock. We now have eight spots reserved under HOFLER. If you get there
before me, guard them with your, Vega of course...we'll be there shortly!
We still need an entertainment coordinator. Any takers, any creative
individuals (everyone with a combi unit I suppose), any ideas...you have to
help, my wife is suggesting going from boat to boat and tricker
treating...mind you there are things we need and I am prepared to sing an
old stones number (hey you get offa my Vega) or...perhaps not. Of course I
know that many of you, like me, enjoy just being out on the water away from
the noisy party going city dwelling mob, but hey, isn't that what a
rendezvous is all about? Send your suggestions and be there because I
promised some pictures to Pacific Yachting.
