I am also dealing with oxidation on a 81. I have what might be considered a silly question...But you know what they say... the only silly question is the one you do not ask. My specific problem is what to do with the topside. I have the Hull licked with a 3m compound and wax after. What do you do with the non-skip areas? Do they need to be treated to removed oxidation? What do you out on them after? The no-skip I speak of is just the factory bumpy stuff, not after market. Thank you for help, Tom
