Do any Hunter 23 owners happen to have this document? I am proud new owner of '85 Hunter 23 and I am looking for the original manual that came with boat.

I have a digital copy of the manual...
I found online, can't remember where. It may have even been on this site. Each page was a separate J-peg file. I cleaned up many of the line drawings in Photoshop, printed it to a single PDF, and plan to OCR the manual then re-type any problem areas so that a nice digital copy exists. It is an almost 7mb file, so contact me direct with your email and I will send you a copy.

A complete OEM manual is available as PDF on this site. Go to Resources tab, Resource library go to H and find "Hunter" - There are a few there

Unless you are talking about something else, the links in the resource library both point to ayesail.net, which has been missing for a while now. The only way I was able to get to them was using the internet wayback machine, and then you can only get partial information (and is painfully slow). If there is one available on this site, a link would be handy, particularly one that is 1985 specific including information on the centerboard.

You're right, the link is now gone, but it was there less than 2 months ago as I used it to look up the layout of the H23.5

Honestly, it isnt very informative for technical details or parts specs. Its like your car owners manual, only basic info, advice and general scematics and you wont find detail parts diagrams like in a Chilton repair manual for cars. I wish there were some boat specific manuals and fix up guides.

I am in the process of converting the Hunter 23 manual to a word document. The final copy will have cleaned images and will be a true editable document. Brad (MrUnix) has started a Hunter 23 website. Perhaps a copy can be posted there once the pictures are made web-friendly. Once it is complete I will let the group know.
