I have a 1990 Beneteau M500 and one of the cabin overhead lights has fried. It is the old standard rectangular overhead light that Beneteau put in most of their older models. Does anyone know a source for replacement fixtures or ballasts?

I have 456 Ben, with twin fluro gold rectangular lights. I ditched the fluro tubes, and replaced with LED flexible cut to length light strips, with self adhesive backing, stuck them to silver reflective backing in the light. Much better light, with low amps output. All the domestic light shops have them.

I ripped out the ballasts and fluorescent tubes on our Oceanis 350 and did a full LED replacement that runs direct off 12v and reuses the existing fixture, cover and switch. I'm going to be putting together kits soon. I have the ballasts if someone needs them, w2eny@yahoo.com
