We're now four weeks into our six-week circumnavigation of Vancouver Island and still having a blast despite the weather. We rounded Cape Scott at the top of the island last Sunday in heavy clouds and fog, but not too much wind. We did get beat up by the waves on Nahwitti Bar just before Cape Scott and had green water running down both side decks. Due to the current we were making about 10 knots over the bottom at the time so the punishment didn't last long. On Wednesday we rounded Solander Island and the Brooks peninsula which is one of the windiest and most forboding places on the West Coast. To escape the rain and cold weather we've been pushing ourselves to get down the Island and are now in Tahsis in 80 degree sunshine (Finally).More later.Gary WyngardenS/V Wanderlust h37.5
