Hi Peter, I had to remove the previous owners name for my boat a few years back. It finally came down to peeling the vinyl off a piece at a tiem. To remove the sticky residue, good old fashion EASY-OFF Oven Cleaner did the trick. The hardest part of the hole process was getting the vinyl peeled off. Good Luck.
