Outboard motor mount

any ideas on how to get the mount to release easily. new used 23' requires awkward manuever to drop the motor.

clean up

you might clean up the mount and regrease moving parts, perhaps some springs need replacing, if there are any, or if missing. your motor may be too big for the mount, good luck...

We bought the Fulton MB 1710 for our 1985 23 with a 9.9 outboard. The Fulton has two torsion springs which help in lifting that outboard but it is still an awkward/difficult chore to lift or lower motor.
