Outboard lift preferances

I've decided to update the lifting bracket for my new 8 horse 4 stroke Yamaha . From what I can discern it weighs in at about 100 pounds .
Almost 35 pounds more than the 8 horse 2 stroke Johnson it is replacing .
I'm considering either the Panther Marine Tech 55-0410 bracket or the Garelick 71090.
Does anyone her have any experiance with either one ?
Thank you

I've never used either but, for what it's worth, my boat came from the factory with a rail-style system that raises the motor vertically and I really like it.

I have the three spring motor mount from Catalina Direct. My motor is a 92 pound Honda extra long shaft It works great . Easy up and down and lots of travel distance to get the motor in the water. Dano

I've had both a Nova Lift and a Garhauer. I much prefer the Garhauer, it is engineered so the motor can be easily lifted while standing in the dinghy and has much less friction than the Nova Lift.
