Outboard hoist for Hunter 420

Looking for suggestions for a outboard motor hoist for a Hunter 420 center cockpit

Some years ago I added a C-Level Motor mate Crane to the stern. I got it from Defender in Waterford, CT. Also got their otor Tote Strapping that goes around the outboard.

I just installed a Garhauer motor davit to the sstern area of our Hunter 450....attaches to 1.0" rails with sturdy mounts and has a 4:1 pulley advantage and a 150 lb capacity; removable for storage if desired; well engineered and heavy stainless steel construction; has 34" arm that moves freely; cost $320 new....great product. I also use an Edson rail motor mount that is very sturdy although costly. Garhauer #909-985-9993 in Upland, CA...also makes very good blocks, cleats, etc....ask for catalog.

I have a hunter 410 and i use the end of my boom with a small block and tackle. Not sure if the 42 has a long enough boom but if it does it is a cheap, solution with a lot less clutter to the transom. I just swing the boom over to the side with my rail plate, hoist it up and then lower it in place.
