I am not happy with power of my 12ysm Yamar on my 1979 Hunter 30 I was thinking of puting a outboard as a back up.I wanted to use a 20 hp 4 stroke .I would Like a comment opn this. Thanks

Any seas, say 5-6 feet, your boat would hobby horse enough, the prop will come out of the water. not good, Otherwise if heard of a few that it worked out but i can't see me doing it on my boat. And you by the ocean.... get some opions first. Pray for Wind, Lugeman

At 170 lbs to hang on your transom and a cost of $3,500 plus mount and controls don't sound like a good idea.
