Outboard for C22

Our club is looking for an outboard for our C22, which sits in the lakes Nov- Apr, then in the ocean May - Oct. Some are concerned about the maintenance (lack thereof)for the outboatd while in the ocean, on a mooring. One consideration was a Honda 2 hp air cooled 4 stroke engine. This size seems pretty small. Any experience with this engine, or similiar size? We previously had a 4hp engine. Michael

I looked - lots of stuff. But in the meantime, the 'boat master' bought a 4 hp - so I don't have to worry about the 2 hp engine. Michael

Good!

Because a 2hp is way too small for a C22. The 4hp is OK but 6hp would have been the best.
