Joe, you have answered your own question. Nothing like a racing sail for racing. You could have the uv cover replaced with a white uv, but you will then be complaining about the shape of the sail. That sail is more of an all round all weather sail. A #2 is specific for a breeze and has a very different shape. If you are getting serious get a racing #2 And save this one for what it was ment to do. Looks like you should give Tim a call. Mark
