Origo 2500E Alcohol Stove

Hello! I need some assistance. I have an origo 2500E alcohol stove. The burner control slider has gotten really hard to slide both ways. Is there a way to spray or lube the slider control? I have looked everywhere. Thank you!!

If you can take it apart, I'd rub it down with some barkeeper's friend and a scotch guard pad...to get all of the rust off... and then put some sewing machine oil on the moving parts.

Anything I can spray? I don't think I have the ability to take it apart.

The usual suspects include

• WD-40
• WD-40 PTFE "dry lube"
• PB-Blaster
• PB-Blaster Silicone
• Liquid Wrench
• 3-in-one (what I was calling sewing machine oil)
