Ordered the Tank

I bought my Ronco. Now a few questions: 1) The previous setup had the intake on the tank on the bottom and the outtake on the top next to the vent port. Is this the correct setup? It seems to me the intake from the bowl should be on the top and the outtake to the "T" valve should be on the bottom where the waste is. 2)I'm going to order the Sealand hoses from WM. The hose from the bowl to the tank is the 1 1/2" Sealand. The hose from the tank to the "T" valve is the same. And the hose from the "T" valve to the pump that goes overboard is the same. But here's where I'm not certain what to get. The hose from the "T" valve to the deck filler is that white coily type hose. The hose from the hand pump to the thru hull for overboard discharge is the white coily hose. And the vent hose is also the white hose, although smaller. Should I go with the 1 1/2" Sealand where the white hoses are now (to the deck filler and to the thru hull for overboard discharge). Or, do I stay with something similiar to the white coily hose that's there now? What about the vent hose? Thanks.

Great! And now a few answers...

"The previous setup had the intake on the tank on the bottom and the outtake on the top next to the vent port. Is this the correct setup?" Nope. Since both fittings are the same size (1.5"), my guess is, somebody just connected the hoses backward. As for your hose question...the SeaLand "OdorSafe" hose only comes in 1.5"...use it everywhere that 1.5" is called for. Use Shields or Trident white sanitation hose everywhere else. I also strongly recommend that you use a y-valve instead of tee fitting...and keep it turned toward the deck pumpout except when dumping the tank at sea.
