opinions on 25 c/b wedge sealant/caulk

Herb, Timm, others, should I use 4200 or life sealant or life caulk. thanx. couldn't locate in archives. gene

Prefer to use Life Caulk because a few years from now, I'll need to repair something on the CB and breaking the wedges loose will be a whole lot easier. Have a good day!! Tom

I'm going to have to defer to the others on this one, I've not done (yet) any repairs on my centerboard.

I used 4200

I used 4200 on my wedges. 5200 is impossible to get off and I am confident that at some point everything that gets sealed will have to be resealed even if it is only to repair some related parts. 4200 is removable with a reasonable amout of work and seals just as well in my opinion. CVP
