others will keep searching for the perfect fit. Some will find it and some won't know what will please them but they will keep looking and hoping.

trailerability is a top concern so that limits us considerably and i got about the biggest one i could handle (budget, trailerable, singlehanding )all played a big part in this quest and i'm very comfortable with my '68 santana 27:D

of a 2007 Mac 26M power sailer bought new for my 55th birthday. Contrary to some opinions, it sails well and motors faster. My previous two boats were used and also trailerable. The areas I sail in have currents and many shallow areas and I like to gunkhole or beach the boat overnight. The wife thinks it's too big but I assurred her it would shrink when put in the water.;)

'00 H260

Mine is a 2000 H260 which is perfect for what I do. It is big enough to comfortably spend the weekend with the wife(or longer for those wishing to do the loop) and small enough for me to easily single hand. I sail a lake/reservoir in TX so the level can sometimes change. The swing keep is perfect for that as well. Since the wife learned about the Loop, she wants do that and with the ability to drop the mast I think it is perfect for that too. Unless I move to the ocean where I would make any passages this boat will be with me for a very long time to come. It is easy and inexpensive to maintain and gives me all the pleasure I need.
