ANYONE OUT THERE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH FINDING AND REPLACING THE OVERFILL PROTECTION DEVISE ON THEIR LP GAS CYLINDEWR. I HAVE A 1997 CYLINDER THAT DOESNT HAVE ONE. CANT GET IT REFILLED. IT IS A HORIZONTAL 10# CYLINDER. A NEW ONE IS ABOUT $250.00

try checking with tank maker Worthington OR just refill your tank from another...connect each tank with hose,(two fittings alike) and put full one above the other and let it drain into empty..takes awhile but works...

LPG tank overfill protection device

I know that no one except Nicholas would try to fill a LPG tank as he suggested. I know that he is "pulling our leg" but someone unfamiliar with propane could take him seriously & actually try this most dangerous trick. It is unfortunate that such a dangerous comment can be posted. I would like to ignore his posting but I think we all have some responsibility here. Regards, Bob B.
