In late January as we were sailing across the Sea of Cortez to San Carlos from Santa Rosalia, there were strong winds. When we arried in Bahia San Carlos, we learned that seven boats had either broken from their moorings or had dragged their anchors and washed ashore.
After we had anchored Sequitur, we took Non Sequitur around the anchorage shooting photos of the beached boats:
We saw some activity at this last one, and sat in the dinghy watching as a team of commercial salvors hauled her off the rocks. I shot a video of the action, and have finally gotten a good enough sniped wifi connection to upload an 85 meg file to You-Tube:
