On h260 found weird hand toggle by rear princess seat. Does it demobilize rudder if boat has outboard steering? unconnected outboard throttle? Ideas? - D

That is a standard side mount shift and throttle lever. Similar to this one at Defender.

The lever is a dual action throttle and shifter which is used on an outboard motor. The location of the lever is very poor as I have installed many on the Hunter 26 and 260 sailboats.
