Ok, so I gotta get a different hot water tank. What are the pros and cons of a LPG on demand hot water system? Thanks, Steve, s/v NOETA (P323)

Flash water heaters

Steve; I'm also considering a flash water heater as I will soon get some solar panels and a small Honda generator and will need a way to heat some water everyday for galley duty and showers. I'd be interested in responses to your questions, too.

I had a Paloma heater

I had this heater in my last boat. Never had any problem in 10 years when I sold her. The biggest down side is that the output temperature is dependant upon the flow rate. Higher flow=lower temperature. I don't think that this system would work very well on a boat already fitted with H
