on a 77' catalina 22-should I buy single line reef

trying to figure some elses old sails; a main w/ battens sewed-up, 3 feef points, 2 grommets w/ no line ties on the ends-sloppy mess. Should I buy the catalina direct single-line reef kit ?

why,

the boat is samll enough to reef easily. If you are handicap or old yes otherwise no.

Actually, I have assembled a single line reef from a line, three various sheaves and some kind of S hook. It is helpful if you are single handing to be able to reef and not be so far from the tiller for very long. ~BilboN.E. Ohio

When the wind gets kicking you don't want to be needing to go up to the mast and mess with reefing. Make it easy.
