OMC saildrive repair

I have a omc15 saildrive that may of crack a block during winter. It cranks and runs fine but when the water vale is opened it kills. You can shut off water supply clear cylinders by spinning starter with both plugs out till dry. ( water blows out)Then it will start and run but if water valve is open it kills the engine. The engine performed so well hate to loose saildrive what are the options.

OMC ZEPHYR saildrive

Hey BRUCE---Jus bought a 1975 O'Day 25 with a OMC saildrive.The boat has been laid-up fer the last 15 yrs. The saildrive was a first-class install,everything looks great,I wanna take it apart jus to make sure(backyd. mech.) but I would like to have a repaair manual.Tried to get one on-line--NADA! I sure would like all the info on that neat lil' engine. GOOD OLE BOAT magazine ads a very similar unit(12.5 hp 4 cycle gas, fer $6,250)--may as well get a diesel
