I am getting braver. Many of you have helped me get into tghe guts of my boat and all excursions so far have been successful. So here I go again.
I just finished installing a new Raymarine MFD e7 and the 18" Raydome digital radar. I was able to "plug and play" into my existing Faymarine ST60 gages and believe it or not it all worked. But, I am confident now and thinking about trying to tie my older Robertson AP300 autopilot through the NMEA mode. so, my question is has anyone done this and how difficult is it? Not being at the boat I am wondering if the Robertson has a simple NMEA output of some sort and I simply plug that into the NMEA wire input of the wiring harness provided by Raymarine.
Anyone got any advice? Thanks, Sandy
