I was wondering if anyone has a lead on sources for Lewmar Old Standard Fly screens, probably size 0. We had a full set, unfortunately this past week one made an escape while at anchor and found its way to the bottom of Lake Superior.
I'd like to replace the screen, but am having a bear of a time trying to find screens that will definitely fit. Since Lewmar re-used their numbering system, most search results seem to come up with hardware for new standard ports....I found one source, which included measurements in their description, but when I received the screen yesterday it was actually a different size than was described. This was off e-bay so, of course, I'm probably out the $45....
The screens I have measure in at 4"x10" (see attached pictures). These are right at the same size as the plexiglass in the ports, so based on the chart I found on Defender I believe that is Size 0 (the size 0 glass being 10.5" x 4.375").
Defender doesn't show any size 0 screens on their website (or, they do, but I'm pretty sure they're new standard, although the description doesn't clarify one way or another...curse Lewmar for using the same numbering system for different versions of their products....) OR...maybe this does fit the old standard? It looks like a different product, and I cant' find actual measurements for the screen.
