I am in the process of rebuilding an old bronz head. What is the best lubrication to use for the cup leathers in the cylinder? Thanks,

The "Winner" model was discontinued some 25 years ago. I have a drawing for it, but have never actually seen one. I do know a few things about it...that it's a wonderful toilet--a bronze "throne" that should last at least 100 years, and that parts and rebuild kits are still available for it--and prob'ly always will be. I'm 90% certain that lanolin is the best lubricant for the leathers, but I'd rather W-C advise you. Their phone # is 800-521-3032 Let me know what they say?
