Best method for removing old bottom paint. One company want to use a wet sand blast mixture, to remove the old bottom paint. While others use scotch brite pads to cleanup, followed by Interlux 202 and two coats of paint. By the way both will hydroblast the bottom with high pressure water as the boat is removed from the water. This wet sand blasting system is new to me, will it hurt the gelcoat??

Soy Stripper

I have heard about (never used) a product made from Soy beans. It is environmentally friendly . I have attached a link to a company that sells the product . The company that makes the stripper may also have a website . Good luck CM

Should be fine..

From what I've read...As I'm looking at stripping my many years of bottomfouling paint as well. The "sandblasting" method is preferred if you have the $. It takes professionals to do it, a.k.a. it's not a DIY process. My wallet isn't fat enough, so looks like it's Peel Away for me, gads.
