Okay, so what exactly is her "number"

Everybody asks me what is my Vega's number. Now the paperwork is in
hand and I can say that her VIN is AMNO24560974. She's stated to be
a '74, so that accounts for those two digits. Just guessing, she's
boat number 2456? Right?? Thanks, Ken Preston

HI,
i just went through a hassle with NC marine Fisheries
for my title of Puffin # 1554.
After 1972 in NC all boats were to have mfgs. code AMN
was Albins.
the first numbers were the hull # and the last 2 were
the date bult.
All in all 12 digits which were molded on the port or
starboard side of outside of transom.
If you look they should be there.
