When my Capri 22 is on the boat lift or trailer the aft section of the bottom of the boat "oilcans" where it is supported by the bunks. Has anyone had this experience? and does anyone know how to correct this condition? Thanks.
Perhaps your bunks are too small or they are misplaced. Suggest you compare yours to other peoples C22-trailer setups. Some info. probably in the archives of this website. Re/Slings, perhaps placed wrong or too small (width). In both cases be sure the supports are under bulkheads or other strong points inside the hull. Dick K.
dick, thanks for your suggestion. i am also seeking info from anyone who might have strengthened the hull of the boat with the addition of fiberglass etc. dick
