Oil stain on gelcoat

Accidentally got some used motor oil on the gelcoat in the cockpit which turn it a nice shade of jet black. Can someone who's had a similar problem save me some time and tell me how to remove it? Gasoline? rubbing compound? Help appreciated. Thanks

collinite

Buy a product called collinite cleaner. It is available from Boat US and other chandelries. It works very well on cleaning stains from fiberglass.
