Ahoy fellow O'Day owners; I've finished all the major repairs on my O'Day and have had some fine sailing the last couple of months. I'm now working on the lesser priority maintenance items and am hoping you might be able to help me out with this one. My oil pressure light on my guage panel in the cockpit doesn't light when starting the diesel. I would feel far more comfortable if I knew I had some warning of low oil pressure. Has anyone experienced this problem? How can I determine if the source of the problem is the sender? If it's a bad bulb, does anyone know of a source to replace it?
