Many thanks LaDonna. I found the lamp you mentioned on-line and intend to try it out! Last year I installed a masthead anchor lamp (electric), but not sure I want to trust it and my battery too much. A most worrysome aspect of anchoring overnight is the liability aspect should someone run into you while all is dark. And nowadays (or is that nowanights?)its really hard to get away from waverunners, waterskiers, and other knuckleheads zipping around at full throttle after dark. Dick
